What is shot blasting?

Shot blasting is a technological process of removing various impurities from different surfaces by using an abrasive.Shot blasting is a surface protection and also surface preparation prior to further processing, such as welding, painting.

How long have we been in business?

We have been engineering, machining and fabricating for 30years.  Shot blast has been part of CS Engineering for 17 years.

What shot blasting media do you use?

We use quite a coarse mild steel shot in our blast room.  In the hand cabinet the mild steel shot is of a finer grade,  which allows us to paint items straight away without any preparation.

How long will it take to complete the job?

Jobs can vary, we aim to turn most job around in a week, we will give you an accurate turnaround time when you make contact.

How do I prepare my items for blasting / painting?

All you need to do is make sure that any bearings, brushes, plastic and oil are removed from items

What colours are available?

We can provide the finish you are looking in a number of colours, with a matt, satin or gloss finish.  Our paint supplier is 5mins away, they have been known to colour match to you specific colour.
